Mind And Body

I realised the other day
that whatever my body
is doing or not doing
I will always be an
alcoholic in my mind.
It was a great comfort
somehow, to know that
that it's possible to forever
acknowledge, revel in and
even indulge the thought
of the relaxation, power
and ease permitted by
wine. It doesn't matter
to anyone else, but it
makes my life smoother
somehow.
