In The Dark

Why does everything bad happen at night? You never get home from work in bright sun at 6pm to find that everything has been devastated by a) wind b) rain c) a baby trying to force its way out of you d) a shrill phone call saying your father's not coming back e) your parents fighting in the bathroom f) the frustration of not knowing what you are supposed to be doing but trying trying striving tossing turning endlessly g) the revelation of what time and the universe actually are, which you must instantly forget or go mad

Well maybe you do sometimes, but that ruins my point.
