I Was Scared ??
No, not really! Being scared kind of depends on who you are, where you are, what’s happening, your point of view, and whether there is an exit handy! My home-grown, cowboy philosophy is an adaptation of the 23rd Psalm taught to me by a great, fearless leader many years ago:
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for I am the biggest S.O.B. in the valley!
It sometimes sort of mitigates that sinking, white knuckled feeling of fear which strikes when you’re facing the unknown.
